of course there will be Opening Ceremony and Parade, a spirit-filled
Gospelfest celebration, unique après ski events hosted by NBS regions
such as "A Salute to Black Beaches" by the NBS Western Region, night
time social activities, the world re-known mountain lunch "Picnic on the
Hill", and of course opportunities to ski and ride some of the most
exciting terrain in America. From downhill to cross country, to sleigh
rides and snowmobiling, this event is sure to deliver opportunities to

About the destination:
Sun Valley Resort, founded on part European flair and part American
ingenuity, is located in the mountains of Idaho. Home to some of the world’s
best terrain, Sun Valley Resort has options aplenty from rough and rugged
backcountry to wide open groomers, to a variety of glades. With some of the
highest per person uphill lift capacity, there are virtually no lift lines.
Sun Valley offers two mountains, Bald Mountain (steeps and chutes) and
Dollar Mountain (more moderate terrain for developmental skiers and riders).
Vitamin D here is plentiful and free. So pack your sunscreen and grab your
sunglasses as you head out to ski/ride the mountains of Sun Valley. Sun
Valley has 13 known natural hot springs in the area, and many people know
secret spots as well. These natural hot tubs give visitors an easy way to
warm up.
Ketchum, the small town one mile to the south of Sun Valley, sits at
the foot of Bald Mountain, the region's biggest ski mountain, Today,
numerous galleries fill the charming western facades of this old mining
